Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get rid of it.
This policy covers the ExamPulse website and the ExamPulse mobile apps for Android and iOS. ExamPulse is operated by Cybex Innovation ("we", "us"). Contact us at info@cybexinnovation.com.
The short version
- You can read everything without an account, and without giving us anything.
- An account needs one contact detail — a mobile number or an email — so we can sign you in and save your progress.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
- You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, at any time.
What we collect
If you do not sign in
Nothing that identifies you is stored on our servers. Your reading progress, bookmarks and quiz answers stay in your own browser or app storage. Clearing your browser data erases them, and we cannot recover them.
If you create an account

Collected automatically
- A hashed form of your IP address, to rate-limit sign-in codes and detect automated abuse. We do not store the address itself.
- A record of each sign-in code sent — the destination, the channel and whether it succeeded — because each message costs us money and we have to detect abuse. When you delete your account this record is anonymised, not deleted, because it is a billing record.
- Standard web server logs kept by our hosting for security and diagnostics.
On Android and iOS
The mobile apps additionally use Google Play Integrity and Apple App Attest to confirm that a request comes from a genuine, unmodified copy of our app rather than a script. These return a verdict about the app and device, not about you, and we store only whether the check passed.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, calendar, microphone, camera or any advertising identifier.
Children
ExamPulse is intended for candidates preparing for competitive examinations and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Who else sees your data
We use a small number of service providers, and only for the purposes below.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or analytics networks. We will disclose data if required by law.
How long we keep it
- Your account and progress: until you delete it.
- Sign-in codes: ten minutes, then they expire and are consumed.
- Abuse-detection request logs: 30 days, then automatically deleted.
- Message-sending records: retained as billing records, anonymised once your account is deleted.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and equivalent laws elsewhere, you may:
- See what we hold — your profile and progress are visible in the app; write to us for anything else.
- Correct it — edit your name and preferences in your profile.
- Delete it — Profile → Delete my account and data. This is immediate and irreversible; we keep no shadow copy.
- Withdraw consent — deleting your account withdraws it entirely. You can keep reading without one.
- Complain — write to us first at info@cybexinnovation.com; you may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only as one-way hashes, never in a readable form. Our database is not reachable from the internet. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store passwords or payment details at all, which removes the two things most worth stealing.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how we use your data, tell you in the app before it takes effect.
